The part number you gave is the one I got for my 2001 Td4, that's the filter plus the cover, the whole complete thing. That's the part number as on the sticker, on the cardboard box there's another number printed: followed by a # sign, but don't know what that 2nd number means.

Wow, I keep the official speeds as well but 50mph is slow I guess, I do 50 km per hour where it says 50, and respectively 70, 90 or 120 kmph where it is allowed. But then I'm still a youngster.....:D:D:D

As told a couple of times already in the past, I experienced the same thing when I put a K&N filter in mine (this was back in 2001), a few weeks later I had troubles in revving up and taking off etc... but at that time this phenomaena was not explained/known yet as it is now so I kept driving it...
