    £500 temptation, Essex

The main downside seems to be that you have to go to Basildon.

Can I tow my caravan on my licence?

It's the Maximum Allowable Mass, not the actual weight. Also bear in mind that there is a maximum weight that the vehicle is allowed to tow - though that won't be a problem with a 90

How long have you gone without a puncture?

About 2 years ago on a country road - by the time I could stop I had run flat for too long and the tyre was knackered. No phone signal on O2 or EE either, so I was really glad I have a spare!

    Which Year Defender

Blimey, that's some mod if you go sea fishing in it! Personally I fancy a late 300.

    Creeper Choice??

When I replaced the gravel drive with blocks, I thought I would be after one of these, but I borrowed a neighbour's to try, and have abandoned the idea! Firstly, the blocks are so much more comfortable than the gravel, and so much easier to move about on. If I'm going to be in one place for a...

Best place to hold a spare wheel

Looking at that plated rear door, I was thinking I would want a window in it for rear vision. I also thought, with another hinge you could make it a stable door - great for just popping the shopping in!

magnetic tape to hold an awning?

I quite agree that there is no way magnets will work, but there is a simple, cheap way that doesn't involve a roof rack or making holes. 1. Make sure the roof part of the awning extends as far forward as the B pillar. If it is a commercial awning with an insert to run inside an awning rail...

    Sliding Doors

Thought I posted this, but it doesn't seem to have appeared, so here goes again! Just at the moment I am driving round in a Kia Sedona. Boring vehicle, but at least it is huge. What I do like is the sliding rear doors - really taken to them. Have these ever been seen on a 110, either...

What tools/equipment can't you live without?

Nobody's mentioned axle stands - 2 pairs of heavy duty. And the Swarfega has to be green - don't think much of the Orange.

    Side steps

When the RR ones on my Classic rusted once too often, I put on a pair from Bearmach. Solid metal, heavily galvanized, and thick rubber. Now on their second vehicle and still perfect.

    Damit... LOOK!!

What's with ordering O rings? You know you're going to need them, in all sorts of sizes, so get a selection box and just order new ones as a size gets low.

Misfire on startup, clears < 1min.

Misfire on startup, clears < 1min.

If a car is really essential to you, perhaps you should consider picking up something cheap to run and reliable as a second vehicle. I know I reckon my old Peugeot 106 costs almost nothing to run, as it is so much cheaper on fuel than thebRangie.

Misfire on startup, clears < 1min.

bearing in mind that your problem is more likely to be in the head than the block, I wouldn't spend that sort of money without finding out where the problem actually lies.

Misfire on startup, clears < 1min.

Find a nearby LPG engineer, get them to remove the extra pipes, then do the head yourself. If the engineer will let you, watch as he does it, make notes, take photos. You will still be able to drive it home on petrol. When you've solved the problem you can re-install the LPG yourself, take it...

    Trolley jack

And what's this about "going under". Never go under a car that's on a jack. That's what axle stands are for.
