is there any other way to get the sprung weight of a vahicle? i need to work out what springs i need for my lift and dont have anywhere i could lift mine (disco 1 )

depends what finish you want, but a car as in a little thing for a reasonable job is around £1500... you could roller/brush it yourself, or buy a compressor and learn..i did my own, not perfect but does the job

cheers, looks abit different at mo, side windows have been boarded up, doors are red as iv swapped them, roof windows welded up so looks tatty at the minute, she will get there again lol

could be the rail that it sits in is broke, strip door card off ( 5 mins) and you should be able to see why

now then chaps and chapetts.. iv currently got +2" springs on my d1 with the RAC twist kit, im looking to go to +4", iv got everything else sorted apart from front arms and panhard rod at minute but wondering, is it worth spending the £300 on getting some +4" springs made for mine to correct...

how you get access to parkwood during week? I wont be there as im on nights, last time i was there i think was same as noisy, he lasted 30 - 40 seconds i lasted about 60 seconds as i went to a different part lol..

no worries, so have you got an air con pump aswell as an electric pump running?, i was hoping to just get an electric pump for mine as iv got 2nd alternator where air con pump could be :(

What's the plan with the air...Both lockers and??? Not sure what temp tdi 's run at tbh but I still get alot of warm air out just no fan.. I bit the bullet and ordered the heater with 5 outputs so we shall see..now need 4" springs which means il need 6 degree front arms all because I'm the 1st...

whats this comfort you speak of..i just dont want to be shivering whilst driving lol.. hmm time for card to come out and play, may have had another idea for dash which involvces swapping out the centre console bit so no stereo or heter vents there, but who knows.

also how good is the kit car heater as im looking at doing similar now that mines packed up...grr pleanty of heat or just ample for a disco, also is it annoying having just the 1 speed...off and on lol
