If you're not a mechanic then you need to get a competent landy mechanic to look at it and diagnose the issues. Engine power could be something as simple as a blocked fuel filter or bad lift pump. Brakes could just need bleeding. Not sure about the diff without knowing more. If the vehicle is...

It's a 200tdi by the look of it.

The springs were terrafirma medium duty 2". The black carpet is car carpet from eBay. It won't rot or smell.

Although it's painted green and the army used it, it actually doesn't look like an army spec but rather a civvie spec. The civvie doors, lights, lack of side lockers and missing fixings along with a tdi engine give it away. What have you done to it in the last 12 months?

Some advice from a amateur who has done this job 3 times (including yesterday). If the shock mount looks bad then buy 2 new ones with nuts/washers before you even start. They aren't expensive. Also get an angle grinder with a good cutting disc and some good grips. Spending hours on your back...

The blue spring is part of the RTC steering damper rather than the axle springs.

My suspension bits have arrived.... I took the opportunity to paint the galvanised turrets, rings and spring bases as I want it looking black under there. I may make a start at fitting this stuff at the weekend depending on weather and time...

Just a couple of photos that I missed from above. First show the exhaust fitted and second is the first foot of the exhaust. This is the only bit of mild steel that isn't wrapped before it opens to 3" stainless. It's painted in high temp black paint.

My last 3 sets of Land Rover rims have been sourced through Silverline4x4.

They are 100% the worst jack I've ever used. I may have one in my garage..... I'll check it out later. The bottle jacks are way better.

I used stainless wire for the welds and the mild bit at the front isn't wrapped. It's just taken back to bare metal (almost) and painted using high temp paint. 3" is fine for a turbo. I really don't think that there much requirement for back pressure on a turbo diesel like this. It's not that...
