    hot, hot hot

Open the bonnet - Look at the heater box - Get someone to move the heater controls up and down and you should see the cable moving a lever on the heater box.

    anyone used/bought one of these?

I purchased a door from these guys a few weeks back. Quality was good. If you've ordered one with glass then it is held in by strips of metal that have been riveted. You'll have to drill these out to get the glass out. Shouldn't be a big job. I bought one with no holes (except where hinges go)...

PM sent. I'll create a proper for sale thread hopefully in a couple of weeks. I'll also probably use a free ebay listing that i have and stick it on ebay. Thanks

    Classic - Project Scab

Well I've not done much more on this other than drive to the coast a few times and use it as a general run around. Unfortunately I've got to sell it as having a defender and a rrc seems like a waste.

Changed the storage setup in my 90 today :)

looks great. Well done. Are you leaving those screws pointing through the arches or planning to grind them off? Is there a possibility of someone catching their hand whilst changing a wheel or maybe the tyre catching them on articulation when traveling off road?

    Goodbye 90, hello 110 project

I think I ordered it via cradocks. It's good but considering the money I'm not sure if I would order again. I think there may be cheaper options.

    Goodbye 90, hello 110 project

Some more artistic photos taken in the mist :) I'm not going to do any more painting this year. The plan is to see how the roof holds up over the winter. I hope ive painted it to a standard where it will last (unlike the rest of the paint lol). A proper rub down followed by the whole roof...

insulating stuff link This is the stuff I used for those interested. This big one did the roof and rear door with some left. I'll probably buy a smaller pack to finish the sides. Carpet was from ebay. The insulation is basically foil covered bubble wrap. All materials are non absorbent and rot...

Carpeted the inside of the roof and repainted the rear door inside with a brush though. Also waxolyed the inside of the door to future proof it and carpeted the final panel.

Undecided about if I should insulate and carpet the side panels also.

Inside of the hardtop now painted. Also insulated the inside of the roof ready to apply carpet - Insulated the rear door - Then added the cover - I then attempted to add a slight tint to the rear glass for a bit more security. It all went wrong! The tint stripped the...

110 Hardtop / truck cab swap

It bolts to the windscreen. There are special plates for this that the bolts bolt to. They are a couple quid each. Check out the parts numbers section.

Also ordered some black window tint to do the inside of the rear windows. Not too dark but dark enough to limit the prying eyes of an opertunity thief from peering in.

    Goodbye 90, hello 110 project

Thanks for the offer :). I've already ordered one though along with retaining plate. I've also ordered carpet to do the roof. I'm going to paint the interior and carpet the roof next weekend. Final verdict on the door is good. I did have some issues lining up the lock latch but that could have...

    Goodbye 90, hello 110 project

Almost finshed the roof - I fitted the rear door this morning. I then fitted the lock mechanism, latch and rear door seal. I just need to buy the mechanism that stops the door opening too wide and the seal along the bottom now. I've got a cover to fit to the inside of the door but I wont attach...

    Goodbye 90, hello 110 project

MOT passed today :) I fitted the rear door with new stainless nuts and bolts. Measured and drilled the holes for the hinges. The door is now removed and painted in my garage. I'll fit it tomorrow then fit the rubber seal. Hopefully it will be dry. Heres a link to the door I purcahsed if anyone...

    110 Truck cab to hardtop...

Actually ignore those part numbers above. They are for a station wagon. But you get the idea, look at the parts section on this forum and you'll find the correct bits that you need.

    110 Truck cab to hardtop...

Use the part number section on this forum - I had a quick look - are you talking about the seal between the roof and the tub around the sides? I'm sure some cheaper foam generic stuff on ebay would be ok. The genuine seal may cost a lot. I had a quick search and it wa £24 per side lol Spend...
