yes prop is spinning when in gear and out of diff lock...so I assume that means it is transfer box?

has my clutch gone if all the engine does is rev when placed in gear, unless I use diff lock and then it is OK or is it the transfer box?

I have a few questions about a series II which i am looking at buying. was the series II discontinued once the series IIa was introduced? or was it still produced until series III came in? How do i decode a chassis/ serial number? Thanks
