    Have a look at the Parrot range of head units if you are considering changing? They like some of the other brands have rear mounted usb/iphone connectors. Also the Parrot's have/had an internal storage to pop your phone while being charged/used for music etc.

    Just came across this and glad you're ok and the disco. :) Not sure if you can do this. But with some dehumidifiers you can extend the outlet pipe. So instead of going to the tank you can have exiting to the outside and avoid emptying the tank. :)

    :welcome2: If the battery is dead after 2 months i would think possibly the alternator is faulty. You say the stereo doesn't work. So does that mean it doesn't power up? or just no sound from it?

    Easy. The one Chris posted just needs a live ( fused) and an earth going to it. Then the sensor put somewhere. The 2nd one with the clock etc is plug and play via cigarette lighter socket. :)
