Good advice will do, why why no flag on the battery to remove the one red transit plug.

New battery sorted , Halfords good as gold, will remove the red transit plug this time. Although I’m surprised there is no obvious reference to this on the battery.

I think I must of done, is it right to be able to view the inside of the battery and therefore the acid through this hole which is about the size of a 20p piece.

Hi all 1998 county 90 The battery light doesn’t completely go out once started, there is still a faint red glow only really visible at night, is this a tell tale sign ? The vehicle is only just starting in the cold weather. Can anyone help with this diagnosis.? Many thanks in advance. Steve Meader

Morning all, 1998 model, glow plug light staying illuminated, any idea why this is. Vehicle is driving perfectly, glow plugs were changed about 3 years ago, other than that all is original. Many thanks for any help Steve M

I was so convinced that it was the front near side area and it turned out to be the rear off side.

Hopefully you can see the details in the photo, can’t believe it stayed inflated with full pressure.

Thanks for the comments guys, it turned out to be a massive hole in a back tyre, probably caused by pot holes ! Other then that it passed the MOT 😀

Thanks for reply, I’ve changed the wheel and tyre and problem persists. Hopefully MOT will fail and it will come to light.
