    While loosening off my front shock absorbers this evening I noticed the gaiter on the front ACE actuator is split. Does replacement require a strip down of the ACE components and draining fluid? Not sure if I fancy tackling that job myself.

    Heater is not getting very hot

    had a look at mine today. The heater pipes are quite high up, am I right in thinking there is no need to drain the whole cooling system? I don't have a steam cleaner will a hose do the trick?

    How does the expansion tank fit on? Is it just the figure of eight type clip? I will need to move it aside to get my shock absorber turret out and I don't want to force the tank and risk breaking anything.

    I want to fix my sunroof properly when the weather improves but I see most peoples leaks are between the sunroof surround and the body work. My leak is between the sunroof surround and the glass/seal.

    Advice on buying a Disco 3 or 4

    I am of the opinion D3/4 is OK when under warranty but if you have to pay to have faults fixed make sure you have a big piggy bank! Face it modern £40k+ cars are out of most peoples reach when new and also old. Makes good sense to keep 'simpler' cars on the road for longer.
