I've done this a few times... No helpful tips I'm afraid other than lots of patience ! The cables need to be wound tight and it is really frustrating when you think you have got it right and as you reach for the cover plate the whole thing springs apart Very satisfying when you do manage it...

No.... Just clamp the hose befor you take it off .... You will only loose what is in the tank ... Chris

Sorted Thanks to those who replied Slackened the bleed nipple...... A small amount of fluid came out..... Tried the connection again and it slid straight in ,.... So it was the pressure Tightened up the bleed nipple and the feel of the clutch and the gear change is better than it's ever...
