It definately SHOULDNT be like that. I have a 99 2.0 diesel with 135k on it and it fires instantly after 1 glow plug heat - no rough or lumpy idling, and the ability to rev as high as possible ( not that youd do that when your engines cold???) Have you serviced it/checked the glow plugs lately?

Hi guys, Opened the boot on the hippo saturday afternoon and instead of having that chunky solid feel of squeezing the switch to open, the switch just feels loose to the touch.. It still opens & closes fine, but where as before you could just slam it to close it & the window would go up...

Im presuming no side lights either? When you got in and twisted the stalk, did the dashboard light up? If the dash isnt illuminated and the side lights arent coming on either, then its prbably your stalk fella..
