Alright sounds like I'll be at Whaddon instead, and on the 14th not the 7th  I'll have to find something constructive to do on the 7th instead haha.

    Hertfordshire Lanes?????

Hey, well, I'm officially moving to Stevenage on Friday :D, starting work on Monday  I was thinking of heading out to this "Devil's Pit" that google pointed me to since it's only about 10 miles from me... Is it good? Would it be worth driving or will it just break my 90? :p She's got...

What are you up to this weekend with your Landy???

I went out laning today in the 90... And realised that the "anti-stall" thing makes life far too easy. Drove the whole lane (which my v8 disco struggled on at parts) with just fingertips steering and no feet on the pedals!

Im thinking 90 for first car

If they did do it by the individual they are insuring then they would inevitably start being accused of profiling... They can't win unfortunately, they're just an unpopular mob! As for insurance, it's definitely worth the cash for driving a defender :p I'm paying a ton as well, but it was...

Is a Defender wider than a Series 3?

I'm a 6'4 ex-rugby player, and my 90 is perfectly comfortable for me... Well, not comfortable, but adequate haha. I have thought about getting the bulkhead removed but I hate doing things to my that I can't undo if I don't like :p. So let me know how it works out!

    I ordered a Defender today!!!!!

ARB Fridges are what I've used in the past. Pricey, but considering you just bought a new car I assume that's probably not a problem haha You might find in time that you will want a roof rack as well. Most expedition vehicles fit roof racks, because it frees up a lot of space for storage...

    Brand new Defender

20 miles?? Damn your first big repair bill will be right around the corner! :D
  13. Tubes63

My NEW new 90...oh, and hello!

    Excellent motor mate :) Welcome

    What car? Advice please

I think the common attitude is that a disco would be the best all-round tow vehicle, but probably not that cheap to run!

    90 or 110

If you're adding it to the collection then why not? If you're replacing the 90... Probably not :p

    1st landrover defender 90.....

This is pretty much an intro, give the guy a break haha I don't know mate, but I'm sure eventually someone will help  failing that, a Haynes manual or something might help. And failing that, if it were me I'd take off the dash and wiggle with the wires and what not until something moved...

The real value of a bull-bar in traffic accidents?

Real bullbars are... Not the namby pamby light guard thingys you get here (albeit because of legislation). That's why they're called "bull-bars", so when you hit a bull (or a roo-bar for roos in Oz) it doesn't damage your car

Slam the drivers door and the engine stops!

What's the engine? And welcome :)

The real value of a bull-bar in traffic accidents?

A bullbar is great help protecting your car when you hit soft fleshy things like kangaroos (or people)... I've also used them to push over trees in the bush (not illegal don't cry at me). As far as protection in a traffic accident, I'm not so sure. A Kangaroo will bend your bull bar well out of...
