Hi guys Hope everyone are enjoying the great Brittish summer :hysterically_laughiwell the Ducks are if we are not . Need some feedback been told that you should only fit landrover fuel fillters not the cheaper one`s you get in flebay service kits what do you guys say...

Up date cleaned ecu & all the connectors even cleaned the injector loom not renewed it yet runs like a dream now .Back to the injector loom cleaned it all out left it dry out over night then sealed up the connector as best as i could so now just have to hope thats the end of oil leaking down to...

Mine did same as what your`s is doing . :censored: was the head gasket. Some say you cant skim the td5 alloy head but i got mine done with no problems it is a big`ish job to do yourself but as with any disco it can be done give it a go :scratching_chin:

Hope your good with spanners or have a good friend that is as you will end up fixing it no mattter what age disco you get . Disco 2 are easy to fix parts price`s are cheap for most parts but as they say you only get what you pay for . I have a 2000 TD5 owned for 5 years in that time i have...

Hi thanks for the offer Clanforbes am in ladybank. Just had a look at injector loom to the ecu :censored: got oil in it so i take it that means a new loom . will i get away with just the injector loom or will i need ti renew the part to the ecu ??????? what u think guys

If you drive a truck for a job like me . I have found a company that give cheap insurance to truckers for their cars and Landys :D i have two speeding fines both of due to truck 40mph on A class roads F##K out of date laws :mad: but we we wont go down that road The company is IAM surety look on...

Mine is a 1999 td5 with 126000 on the clock & i pull a twin axl caravan on holiday & pulls a car recovery trailer rest of year never been a problem only had two break downs in that time trust it and enjoy it its all part of the fun of being a landrover owner :rolleyes:

Did mine with help from a good mate :D you have to cut out the plate that old lights fix to thats just the first job its not easy & if you make a mess of it your in big trouble :doh: so if your not sure DONT try it

only just fitted it and was noisy has been for an hours run still the same

Hi Guys just put a new fuel fillter on my 1999 td5 which i got from landy dealer but pump seems to be noisier now :confused: was told to always fit landrover fuel fillters on a td5 but the one they gave me is a UFI fillter :confused: what do you guys think
