fitted new tyres 265/70/16's recip trial and started to clean engine. just got front and rear diff guards to fit and a spare wheel carrier

washed it,fitted a set off recip trial 265/70/16's and a fire extinguisher,just got new rad,water pump and diff gaurds to fit next.

i feel like a right pleb :doh: now just been out and checked the wheels and none of them have the balancing weights on :frusty: so it might be that thats causing the problem. atb lee

tbh no not yet i got them 2nd hand from another guy who had a disco1,i expected them to vibrate a little if they weren't re-balanced but not as bad as they actually are. cheers mate.

i agree with that and its going to be number 1 and a case of practice makes perfect,i just wished i had a garage/shed to pratice in but i guess its all part of the fun of being a landy owner. atb lee

the trouble is mhm i've never picked up a welder so i wouldn't trust my welding skills at all,i would prob make the disco 10 x worse lol. atb lee

it certainly will keep you out of trouble because if its like mine then it will be never ending :eek:,my front inner wings and both os and ns inner and outer sills need doing but i have been advised to buy a tomcat frame as i only use my disco for off roading and it will be alot cheaper then...
