Hi all i noticed a wuring noise coming from the alternator area so i ve the alternator seen to , bushes etc, but the noise is still there could it be the tensioner . any suggetions lads. :confused::confused::confused: ps its a 4.6 1999 .

thanks for the reply, the temp stay just below half way but no great water loss. both sides seem ok when they are on high plenty of heat comes out even round the bends.

Hi all my heater has started to play up, when i go around a r/hand corner i have heat but as soon as i go around a l/hand corner it goes, the heater works fine when i put it on high , either side , and i dont lose heat when i go around l/hand corners and the fan runs ok its just starting to bug...

Hi everyone i have a p38 and just recently1 of the switches in the front panel has stopped working ( the back left passenger one ) but it works on the lazy lock, if its bust can you but just the switch or do you have to buy the whole panel and is it easy to put on. :confused:

Hi mate if i remember they have stopped making sts and replaced them with strs which i had on my p38 but not anymore they were s??t ive got general grabbers uhp on now and not a bad tyre at all. :)

Hi i had a new engine put in my 4.6 rangie last year with fully synthetic oil but now the garage where i take it is going to put in castrol 5w 30 semi synthetic in he says its ok ?? any thoughts on it.

Hi all i think my throttle position sensor is on the way out when i replace it do i need to get my rangie put on a diagnostic machine to re calibrate / re set it. i have a 4.6 thor engine rangie. :confused:

Hi all ive just got back from a long weekend away and after parking up and taking the key out of the ignition it came up key in ignition and beeped and it would not lock , after a few goes it locked , could this be the fob battery needs replacing as it did beep and say key battery low while...

Hi all what are the symptoms of 1 or 2 lambda sensors not working as i have a 4.6 thor engined 1999 rangie thats running rough, it wont idle properly, i have checked all the pipes for a split all ok as well as the idle sensor , the idle air control etc. :confused::confused::confused::confused...

Hi all i have a 1999 p38 iam looking at getting a code reader/scanner , i have seen a lot on fleabay anyone any thoughts which one , dosent have to be on fleabay. :):)
