Hi all ive been told my viscous coupling has a leak would this cause a vibration , it happens when i get to 45 ish mph but it then goes as the speed goes up, i can feel the vibration roughly in the centre of the car any ideas anyone.

Hi all i have a 4.6 1999 p38 and lately ive noticed that my handling has become a bit wayward, when iam driving along on a straight road i keep having to make adjustments to the steering, and when i go around corners i have to turn the steering wheel more than i should, any ideas what it is...

Thanks for that but i had my rears done 3 years ago so hopefully they should be ok, as for the price on flea bay ive seen dunlop ones with clips for £130 free p+p is that dear or could i get them cheaper any suggestions were would be great.

Hi all it looks like i need my 2 front suspension bags replacing has anyone had this done (at a landy specialist) and how much did /should it cost or does anyone have an idea what it shoul cost ? .

Hi all my r/hand main beam/dip bulb has gone could i put 100w/90w bulbs in with out any problems or should i stick to the normal 60/55w bulbs.

Hi ive just had my abs pump replaced as my other was shot, now when i switch on it makes a pumping noise for a few seconds then stops, great, but when i put my foot on the brake it makes a pumping noise just for a few seconds , should this happen ? :confused:

Yep i did that , still the same, although its ok ,no noise if i leave it a few minutes then drive off, its just when its been stood over night then if i start it then drive straight off there is no brakes until about a minute later.

Hi i did what you mentioned and it took 7 times before it stopped making a whirring/pump noise that sounds like its coming from the accumulator area, well looks like a trip to my landy specialist. :o

Hi all my problem is when i start up and drive away my brake pedel goes nearly to the floor and my brakes hardly work but when i stop i can hear what sounds like a pump then when it stops my brakes are all ok , could this be the accumulator or some thing else.. Oh i forgot to mention its a 4.6...

Hi guys is it difficult to replace rear pads on a p38 petrol 4.6 as mine will need doing soon so i thought iwill give it a go.

Its a bit dark for photos but if you look at a p38 thor engine right over the top there is a banana shape that runs from the air filter box accross the top of the engine .

Hi all i have a 4.6 thor engined p38 what colour anti freeze should i use , it has blue in it at the moment but some people say it should be red some say blue , its had blue in it since the headgasket went, 2010, so should i keep to the same ? :confused:

Hi they are bolted in the middle as well, all i use to put them on/off is an allen key, sorry i forgot the size of the allen key.

Hi all, every time it rains on the left hand side of the passenger foot well water leeks in i have looked and put the hosepipe on but cannot see where its coming in , is there a drain pipe in that area, any thoughts. :confused::confused:

Just had my lpg serviced so i asked them about putting a flash lube system on and they said know need with the v8 rover lumps as the valves are up to it , so realy its up to you.

i have heard so much about which oil to use but know one says anything about asda engine oil or halfords engine oil , i know there cheaper but is there anything wrong with ??
