Just a quick one, the disco failed its mot last month, welding, brake lines and disks so ive had the boot floor out painted chassis etc, new side and back rails, replaced brake pipes front to rear and across rear axle now today i want to put the fuel tank back in, start her up, then spin it...

Clean all the loose **** off, then tiger seal the two together and clamp it till it sets, put some wood there before you clamp so it doesnt damage the door. Or as above, replace with newer from scrappy or ebay etc

Crazymac, how did you get on with the wales 4x4 response? I was thinkin about enquiring myself. Was it easy enough to get involved in and what sort of things will it entail?

Im currently doing my boot floor this is what i have in that corner maybe you just need a rubber plug. It wont be a drain for water as you shouldnt have water in there anyway unless you want replace the boot floor again :)

Can you see how the other end of the hose with the longer thread has a bulb on the end, it looks like i need this end for the tee piece but i need the longer thread to go through a mount on the boot floor crossmember

I understand that but the male on the braided hose looks like it needs a bulb on the end otherwise when they tighten they will only be sealing on the thin edge of the male. Is this right?
