I have a 4.0 D2 and pay 64.6 pL for LPG. I get 12 around town and 16 on the motorway. When towing the 3.5t trailer it's more like 8 mpg.

Nope I didn't get any performance drop and use my D2 regularly for towing 3.5 tonne trailers

So after applying several more doses if the magical cure I find that on the last heavy rain we only had a very minor leak from the screen. I.e the head lining was a little damp instead of dripping wet. So I think we are getting there! Another does or two needed I guess to complete the cure :)

Around 12mpg for town driving and 16mpg on motorway with a 4.0 D2 is what I get. No trip computer, that's from fill up records I keep with a handy app called road trip on the iPhone.

I think the spring only applies to the disco 1 I have had to replace all 4 now on mine. It's not that hard, allow about an hour. You will need some torx bits as well (the star shaped ones) so make sure you have some before you start. The reason it's failing is because the lock has 2 motors...

I try to take mine for it's MOT in the month leading upto it's due date, then you have time to fix it before it's off the road. They still start the new ticket on the expirey date of the old one so you don't have anything to loose. Mind you last year I forgot and ended up doing it a few days...

4L V8 Auto for me and no problem. In the past used a TD5 auto a 300 manual and a 300 auto. V8 the best of them all but no problems I can recall with any of the others apart from lack if power ;)

The SRS will go out as soon as you fix the fault and turn the ignition back on. A common place is the connectors under the seat. You can reset the ABS with a Nanocom it similar.

I think you have a broken spring in the lock. Its a little circular one and can be got from eBay pretty cheaply.

I went for the land rover mat for mine, which fitted great and has flaps for the seat clips when they are down. Was £60 but the carpet is still really nice if I take it up, so worth it.

With no fluid your pump will seize up so don't go driving it without either a new fan belt that dies not go round the pump or a replacement pulley.

Check the bag for a leak with soapy water, look for the air bubbles coming out of it.
