if its a single button remote there is a way to do it yourself its a lot of farting about and you need two people to do it, and it sometimes works, but worth a go. if its two button i think, but dont quote me on this, you have to take it to the dealer.

good site for disco's but if you dont want to spend ages looking for it, its here. look in the links section, then under usefull technical hits and tips, water seeping in.

you need a tracking gauge to do this, might be best to let the garage do it. better get under there and have a good look round, sounds like youve done something a bit more serious, maybe.

hi l3on. no particular gear and there are no other noises. its just when i lift off at loow speed, other than that, sweet as a nut.

check your front and rear brake cailper pistons, make sure they've got free movement and are not seized. this is most often the case. different pad linings on either side can sometimes also cause this and any contamination on the discs or pads.

this is just how they were made on the disco 1s, there is a way of connecting them, not sure how thou. im sure it must be on here some where.

stuck you say, in a defender, mmmmm, glad your getting on ok with yer new landy. had any thoughts about going to any shows this year ! great places for getting hold of stuff for the landy and most have some great off road routes.

little problem with the 300 tdi disco, when im deccelerating slowly there seems to be a slight jerky feeling to it, this dosent happen deccelerating from speed thou. any idea's !!

if youve had the rad off theres a good chance their might be a air lock in your heater matrix. try losening one of the top pipes to see if any air comes out. could it be something simple like the heater hot/cold vent stuck in the cold postion !! or if the rad flush has ruined your rad, chances...
