just test your electric windows, see if you spot the relay thats clicking. indicating that power is present. try to trace the wires that go up behind the dash, must be a fuse in there somewhere. look for the live to and back from the switch's and check earth points. taking off the door panels is...

could be the relay, to check if the relay is working o.k you should be able to here it click as its energised if you cant here it click, first check for a main supply.

all i know is lr recommend that the air bag is replaced every ten years (so they say) if you are going to fiddle with its impact sensors, just to check for loose wiring. make sure you disconnect the battery for at least 20 min's so you give the capacitor time to discharge. have you done any...

Sound like the tyres are rubbing on the radius arms at full lock. put the axle on stands and have a look. to stop this just turn the steering lock screw on the opposing side. (in front of the swivel housing) give a clearence of about 20mm. this wont cause the noise/vibration you mention, unless...

sounds like youve covered most causes. when parked do you leave the rangy in the park position otherwise this can cause battery drain. just a thought.
