sorted myself out with some tyres, colways at's 65 quid for two including delivery. i gota say they definitely look the part and seem to handle the roundabouts at 60 mph. ;) yet to test them in the mud. thanks for the advice chaps.

sounds like it might be the brake caliper piston seized, take the offending side wheel off and check movement/condition of piston.
