I`m looking at buying a disco s1, it has to be diesel and would appreciate any help. i have a few q`s, what to look out for? common faults? 200tdi or 300tdi? is the 200 easy to convert to 300 spec? ie; lights bumpers, is high mileage a concern? does the range rover classic leather fit...

thats not what i meant, i always reset the trip what happened was it had reset itself overnight and reset the whole computer.

oh the joys of owning a range rover... my fiance was out in it today after me and shes now returning 23.1 mpg (the car not the donkey) anyway this is the best its got in my ownership

Went to take my boy to nursery earlier only to notice my trip had reset so upon checking the rest of the computer everything had reset and after re-calculating my mpg went from 15-21.8 on a 8 mile run then back down to 20.4 SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY then still going down to 19.9 till i switched it...

28-30 mpg is much better than me, mine is rapidly decreasing.

clutchdust said it was likely i had a knackered height sensor but i reckon puttin 22 slabs in the boot wasnt such a good idea and is probably the reason it logged a fault.

probably not i`ll ask my uncle if he`s got any bits left but i seriously doubt it.

i think the black leather in ay rr looks stunning, i know black is really common in any car but i think it looks good in the rr with rioja red or oxford blue (my colour) the cream leather is so common and looks dirty if not properly cared for.

i know why the windows werent set cos i changed the battery its just the whole switch pack isnt doing anything other than light up when i switch me lights on. nothing has been spilled nothing is any different that would suggest the reason for fault, was working fine after i changed the battery...

had the same fault when i overloaded mine at the back, havnt bothered getting it fixed yet, too busy fixing other faults but dont worry the suspension will still go to the last position used when switched off so you can still use it.

I have no electric windows working, checked all the fuses they`re fine the control panel for the windows still lights up. The dash still says that the windows are not set (battery just renewed) so obviously the car still thinks they`re working me thinks. Its been ****in of rain up here so havnt...

i`ve already checked it by trying to attatch a magnet but it wouldnt stick so i dont think it is steal.

i wouldnt risk putting veg oil in a rr hefty repair bill if somehin goes wrong.

still say its a bit steep if you`re gonna spend all that to get a diesel to go a bit faster why bother even having a diesel you`d be better off in 4.6 with a gas conversion

Does anyone know where i can get an egr pipe for a 2.5dse p38? mines is cracked, pi*%in me off with its tickin especially under load. or if you know what its made of that would help, can i weld it?
