ok so its been almost 2 weeks any news? just out of interest like

did a 440 mile round trip 99% motorway. M1 then A1(m) so mostly 70 but some 50 mph. first real test of the cruise control, very happy with it made the long trip more comfortable being able to move my right foot and not having it locked in one position. also run the first tank of diesel rhino...

I don't know if the plug is different in other or older models but in the facelift 5 door diesel the plug under the drivers seat is not the one in the above link. but this one

just an update I picked up a black master switch from land rover today (£51.96) as I have a facelift Freelander. the one I got off eBay was grey. as you can see the black one has an image of a clock and the grey a motorway image. here are the part numbers it plugs into the blue plug...

ok I don't know if anyone has thought of this before but. the problem with leather seats, is the driver seat is almost always ragged, where as the passengers is almost always not, so my idea is, what about the rest of Europe? we drive right hand drive, over the water they drive left hand...

this has been covered before, so its not my idea. you get a flat. put the spare on. get the flat fixed, swap it back. cannot be fixed, get a new tyre and swap it with the wheel on the other side to the one that had the flat. that's if it was on the back that is. if it was on the front. well...

one of the things that had been bugging me form day one, so had the drivers seat fixed today. before after before after even had some paint left over so did the wheel free of charge (because of light from phone camera last pic looks pink)

now that makes sense
