Open my EGR valve today and to my surprise its damn dirty with carbon and oily sludge in it.Soak it in engine degreaser and slowly repeat the cycle as to thick for the degreaser to react in one go.Fix it up and tested no leaks.:D

Bendix titanium stripe works well

Went out town on the highway speeds up to 180km/hr did 1000kms.No leak and no loss of engine oil:)Did the IRD,defrential and also the atf change at dealership.Found atf and deffrential oil a bit dirty.Will do it again at the next 30k kms.Found that very smooth runing after change:D

Hi all , Does anyone here can guide me how do we carry out coolant change on a TD4? Can I use wet wetter by Redline for TD4 coolant? Thanks:)

Just found out that my dealership SC just change the breather filter not the whole housing.Will it have any effect if the housing is not change ?

Yup as you say i had inquire but they don't sell it here.Now i got some whining noise could be my IRD oil needs replacement:(:confused:

I still see some oil at the turbo unit after changing my breather.But not as bad as last time where i can see oil stain at m garage.Maybe its due to some old oil still not burnt.

Chase waht ATF do you use Texaco?I have problem finding Texaco here.Do redline or castrol have compatible ones?Thanks

Try putting some lubricant after fixing it. Mine was about to jam but after putting some lubricant it works well till today.Freelander plastics s...ks.

Use Wurth anti squek and spray them at the back of the pads.Works on my ride.

John you are lucky mine change at 80,000kms no signs of leak from the turbo unit till today.Guys what do you use to clean the EGR valve.
