I ve found vasiline to work better, and keeps it from going hard longer..........seems to sty in place as its not water based and dont get washed away....

Yes a 1:50k map does cover a larger area then a 1:25k map for the same size piece of paper, you are right, and yes you do get more area on your screen when driving but for information for a given area, but with all scales they are zoom-able in and out... so i can not see the reasoning behind...

I would go for the 1:25k as in my opinion they are better to read, but you do get a bigger file for less area covered, Dont froget you will need the 3rd Party Mapping software from MM. I got all of the regions working on the Tab now....:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D, all sorted. So now will not have...
