    The Gearbox is making terrible 'its going to die' type grumbling and grinding noises and vibrates alot mid rpm's. The noise appears from the Bellhousing area, and can be heard at high idle in neutral and using 1,2,3rd gears its bad in 4th it quietens up alot. I thinking the bearings are shot...

    Firstly check for a spark at a plug if O.K then check fuel is presant.Unscrew a sparkplug and see if it's wet and smells of petrol after spinning the engine over a few times. To check for a spark remove a spark plug connect to the ignition lead and hold the plug with insulated pliers on...

    1962 SWB V8 poor running

    Just got my Landy 3 or so weeks ago and there are a few probs with it. She's got a 3500cc RPI rebuilt engine and has done 6000miles since (out of warranty) on top sits a webber 500cfm Carb :) which was new when the engine was done. Starts O.K on choke then dies quicky(lots of black smoke)...

    Hello everyone

    Just bought myself a 2a SWB with a V8, can't wait to off road it some were after I fitted some parabolic springs and fixed the brakes.Also need to join a club local to Windsor berkshire.
