Evenin. I read that the turbo was an afterthought and it eventually takes the crank out because it was never designed to take the extra load/power. (I've got a lovely V8 series 3 stage 1 109 for sale, plenty of room for lpg tanks). Cheers, Nick.

Have you been there when he puts it on the machine? only because it's a little bit odd that it should be okay when he plugs it in and he can fix it for the fifteen miles and is it better when its warm which coincides with getting to the garage? Also does it smell of burnt or unburnt diesel...

Is it like the other models and has a couple of earth straps, one on the gearbox and so on and have you checked them all? Are these systems controlled by relays or could there be loose wires in the fuse box or on the ignition? Cheers Nick.

Hi Phil, there are two types of diesel engines, one more complex than the other, one has egr, one does'nt. What you need to do is try and sort out if its delivery( i dont think so) or control. Does it start ok when its cold or has it all gone out the window now. If you do the glowplugs twice...

Is it chucking out any smoke, possibly overfuelling. When its in neutral can you hold it at a constant rpm or is it all over the shop. If he cured it for 15 miles it sounds like he found the fault and tempararily sorted it. I'll have a look and see what my bible says. Cheers Nick.

My battery went flat and i did not have to take it to landrover, just put new battery on and put key in the ignition, resynced itself been fine since. Cheers, Nick.
