Right I bought this stuff from halfords it was £5 for a small tube and it was copper silicone stuff. It said it was designed for high temperature uses such as engine. I only applied it to the engine side though I didn't think it would need it on the rocker cover itself. Maybe if I remove it...

Yeah definitely the rocker gasket at the back of the engine bay. I did put some sealant on it too. Obviously it needs more. Will have to try and re use the new gasket as I'm not buying another! What is rtv and where can you get it from easily?
