looking for interest in possible autojumble

I say Mr Fleck, would you be interested in bringing your wares to the Suffolk 4x4 show & Autojumble? Looking for as many clubs, traders and autojumblers as poss for this on 14/15 May. Had a meeting with the organiser today and it's coming together nicely.

    suffolk lanes

Err can you explain this bit please? In case I didn't explain properly: All our driving days can only be driven by those with a current full UK driving licence. Similarly, Cross Country Vehicle Trial have this same rule. However our Tyro trials can be driven by 13 y.o and above and those who...

    suffolk lanes

As long as he holds a full UK driving licence he is welcome to join, however if he has, he will have to have additional member status rather than Junior member which costs a fiver. Youngsters from age 13 may however drive at our TYRO trial events in a std Land Rover (Class 2 or Class 3) or from...

    Found a Breakers in Nottingham

But surely the ECU is coded to the individual vehicle IIRC? Checked Autodata and they show no engine code at all unfortunately, try reading this link: http://www.landyzone.co.uk/lz/f50/how-id-td5-engine-124317.html

Byway, green lane, what is it?

If you can provide the OS grid ref then someone might actually be able to help you. Just because a road is tarmac'ed doesn't mean it's ok to drive. It all depends on it's status which as quite rightly stated above, will be known to the local RoW office.

    Mot changes

Oh surely not another way to get more older cars off the road? Next it will be the shakken, and then we can all get ourselves a horse and cart!

    Mot changes

It is at our events :D No I know what you mean, the toffee hammer thing is bloody daft. My guy uses a tyre lever, and that's fine by me, as I test to that std before I take it. I'd much rather have good metalwork under me than the ferrous equivalent of a teabag

Replacing interior lights with much brighter LED ones

The std interior light is basically fit for purpose - get in, find the gearstick and handbrake and away you go. I have fitted a flourescent light fitted into both cabin and cargo area of my commercial and they are excellent for when you need more light.

    Mot changes

That's a fair point. I always carry out my own 'home MOT' before presenting the vehicle; always have done. Saves me time running it back again for one thing. Had very few failures on many, many vehicles over the last 30 years as a result. As a matter of fact, when we scrutineer vehicles for our...

    Mot changes

I doubt anyone will moan about the legislation to outlaw those awful HID light conversions. Lights are getting brighter and brighter and causing more of a nuisance where they have been botch fitted to totally unsuitable vehicles. The towbar now comes into the MOT and I have to say, "So what!"...

    Essex lanes

I'd be interested to have a peek at your route if you don't mind; like to see how folk route themselves, especially with the lanes strung out as they are in Suffolk.

    Essex lanes

Nothing is outside the realms of the anti-4x4 users! Especially taking signs down to cause confusion and maybe even get 4x4 drivers into trouble.

    Hi from Suffolk

Knowing my boss, not v.v. cheap, but affordable compared to the Honda price. Gotta go to bed, someone has deliberately jumbled up the letters on the keyboard.

    Hi from Suffolk

LOL very random. Yes on second thoughts 'motto' was definitely the wrong word; diatribe wouldhave been more descriptive. HAng on, bluddy penguins are massing to attack again. Take that, Pingu! More than likely, we are back after the hols on Tuesday but it will be manic so leave it a couple of...

    What tow rope?

Not really as the maximum length for use as a towrope on UK roads is 4.5 metres which is less than 15 feet! SLROC have not banned KERR's but then only our own trained Marshal's either carry out or supervise recoveries at our offroad site. We also carry out strict scrutineering at our events...

Anymore than the VED goes towards roads and greenlanes... That's seriously annoying to me.
