in a word , yes, try reading the owners manual,

usually the cooling system pressurizes and it overheats,you wont see a cracked block as it cracks behind a cylinder liner,when you take the head off check that there is no lip between the block face and the liner.

go on have a go gal,you will need a hex head socket 10mm i think(allen key type) to get the difficult one out

theres a little valve in the pipe from washer tank to the washer jet near the passenger back light(look behind the light cover you may have to take the sub out cant remember),its a one way jobbie and probably knackered and letting the water flow back to the tank.

might be helpful to say what car petrol or doozal and what year as someone may have a nanocom close by and willing to plug it in a location may help also:)

i use 10w40 semi synthetic and change it twice a year and halfords long life coolant mixed 50/50 and change it every other year keep it at the level marker on the tank,as for the hevac you need to get a diagnostic check done on that

i really feel for you mate,if it was me i would get the rest of the liners in your original block done. when my engine slipped a liner i took a chance on a used engine so i could rebuild the original at my leisure,still aint got around to it and its been 2 years,maybe a job this summer maybe lol
