My 1984 110 does not have any any extended breathers. Should i use an appropriate size hose to insert over the breather opening on the diff?

My 5th gear is much louder than my fourth gear, so much so that i prefer to stay in 4th gear rather go in fourth. Is this a similar problem?

I need to get a hood for my 110 cab version land rover. I saw a custom made one with zips, however most of the ones i have seen for sale do not come with zips, that allow easy opening. Anyone know of ones that come with zips on the back and to the sides? One like this but with zips to roll it...

The two original bolts on the bonnet for the spare broke off on my 110. So i bought two bolts. about 9 inches and pushed it up from the underside of the bonnet. I am not sure however if the spare mounts with the outside of the rim facing upward or downward. With the system i have it only...

Does the spare wheel mount with the outside of the rim facing down or up?

What year model is this?? i have one very similar. Mine is the slide windows, pull handle doors.

Had a similar experience today:i replaced a 15 amp fuse today, and presto, my indicators, and fuel gauge are working now. I only need to replace my speedometer cable for that to work again.

Whats the approx cost of your rebuild?

Thanks Much. I checked out the parts number catelogue in the sticky, but it specified that it is for 110's from 1987 onwards. Where can i get the same information but for a 1984 110.

Thanks for your reply. Perhaps i should be more specfic. My transfer lever is an aftermarket one, and thus has no markings, so i am unsure as to the options here. I have only managed to get three options (left Up, Neutral and left Down). Based on my research, i think i should be able to get two...
