Looks like a small additional fuel pump to aid fuel delivery which is why it will run with the engine, looks like an aftermarket fit. Possibly there if the engine has been tweaked in some way

Point the nose of the landy as high in the air as possible, either on a steep slope or car ramps that are strong enough. Let the system drip bleed then force bleed using the pedal

First things first, Do you have a multimeter? If so set it to amps, disconnect your positive battery lead (make sure you have a note of radio codes etc) and put the multimeter between the battery and positive lead, when the rangey is not running you should get no more than 1 amp drawing through...

Expect alot more its just part of landy ownership :D

Think its the fact that the turbo sits underneath and fowls the steering link on a left hooker so he has put on a 19j that mounts on top?

Have you looked at the back brakes as they need to be in good shape aswell

We used to have these at the puggit dealership in Christchurch where i worked. we used to laugh in the morning after it had been ****ing down all night when the sales team went out bleary eyed and dropped the posts in the holes, 4 guysers would come shooting up and inevitably soak the sales guys :D
