Legally it has to have one, I wasn't sure if it had to be stamped on the chassis but as has been answered by Kev and Lynall, you can have it on the master and it will pass. :)

So I recently installed some aftermarket seats in the defender and unfortunately during modification one of the runners blew up into a million little ball bearings. Unfortunately because of this it's resulted in the runner no longer working *sigh* simple jobs always turn out to be the hard jobs...

Yep! Had a stone fly in there and cause a few problems. Both discs have scored quite badly but will survive with just new pads, wanted to know the axle to confirm which pads to get but it's all sorted now, thanks!
