Loosing a little coolant. No leaks no issues so far and tested need opinions ????

I have a similar very slight leak on mine at 132K miles, also no obvious trace, gonna replace cap first. Would it be prudent to consider replacing radiator and hoses at this age? (11)

    airbags

No, not all air suspended Discos had ACE. Mine doesnt. You'll need the bags obviously and fitting clips. Are the ride height sensors still on the radius arms and connected? Is the compressor and pipework still on the vehicle? Would be under passengers floor, hopefully the pipework to the rear...

    TD5 ECU Remap - Experiances?

Cons: with unknown upgrade on mine before I bought it, 2x warped exhaust manifolds, cured now with machined manifold and JD Engineering uprated stud kit.

    tired of tyres

Ive got the General Grabber AT in the same size, on my D2, I really rate them, had the previous AT2 as well before, really hard wearing long lasting tyres. So pleased ive just fitted their GT on our VW Tiguan this week. I would have gone for BFG AT only they dont do 255 55 18. I would not...

    Age old tyre question

General Grabber AT on my D2 in 255 55 18 size, excellent hard wearing reasonably priced tyre, previously ran their AT2 which was also good. I run 32 front and 40 rear for towing.

Belt tensioner and idler, quality of parts

I tend to think its the belt, mine was just the same, annoying screech / chirp switching off. Belt replaced with an aftermarket one made no difference, spoke to an independant LR mechanic who advised only using genuine LR parts belt on the Td5. Changed it and perfect ever since :)

Beeping noise but no warning lights???

Dont think the D2s have seatbelt warning, my 04 certainly doesnt. Ive had mine 8 years, it does occasionally give a few beeps for seemingly no reason, in the absence of warning lights or anything wrong I just accept it as one of its little quirks.

    Best trolley jack

I have a Draper 3 ton heavy duty jack. Bought it 8 years ago when I bought the Disco so that Id have something man enough to lift it, Works fine, cost about £100 IIRC. The only thing Id change would be to have one with the footpedal that brings the saddle up to the vehicle without loads of...
