    overpriced discos

D2 money possibly but there will be those who want a D1 with its 300Tdi engine. Wonder what price would be asked for a similarly specced Defender 90?

Heavy steering after replacement steering box

Hi all, So with a MOT due next month and a leaking steering box I ordered a replacement recon box from Paddocks. Fitted this yesterday, new seals on the feed and return pipes, replaced fluid and bled it as per instructions. It now seems to be particularly heavy to steer and there is very little...

New owner/member with a few questions

Even without ACE a D2 (on air) is much better handling that a D1 on coils all round, drove my dads old D1 and it is so wallowy through corners compared to my D2 - which is hardly a sports car!

Drilling noise, could this be the suspension pump?

Mines been doing that for years, first time I heard it I was paranoid that the pump was on its last legs but apparently its just the valve block releasing pressure. (wont happen when any of the doors are open). If it stops doing it now I'll worry!

    buying a disco 3

I also have a 2004 Td5 Landmark which is still a classy vehicle. 130000 miles. Ive owned it 8+ years now and really do love it although the thought of something more modern does creep up now and again. It doesnt have a cambelt to change (chain driven cam). Apart from clutch and flywheel...
