Its off!!! the fkin thing is off!! :D After a lot of wacking with a chisel between the hub and drive flange it wasnt moving at all... So I had to cut a groove on the drive flange for a blunt chisel, so it could have somethin to grip on and going at an angle.. and after a lot of wacking it...

btw... another quick question... I have a stock of Timken bearings from when I had my 200tdi disco, will this fit the 90's rear hubs? i think its all the same isnt it?

Oil in the axle was fine, so I guess no water has been getting in... I also thought it was the diff pinion or something like that, but as checking the wheel bearings is so easy and as there was some play when I jacked the wheel up and push/pull on the the sides..I thought, well, I'll just check...

yes, there's a circlip in there, you can leave it or take it out, if you leave it then when you pull it off, the halfshaft will come out with it, if you take it off, then only that bit im trying to get, will come off, leaving the halfshaft in. but I took the circlip off. the bolts snapped...

I used a GoPro HD camera to take pictures every 5 seconds.. or 10 seconds, cant remember, but might have been 10. Then I use Final Cut Pro to put it all together and adjust speed, etc...

I've done mine not long ago... - The bolts holding the spring retainers snaped, so I had to drill them out as the nut underneath were welded to the spring plate, but I think not all are like this. so if the bolt snap you can take it out easily... if they are welded you cant get a disc cutter in...
