I would sooner go for a tdi but time i buy the engine 400 squids then the conversion kit from steve parker for 300 squids plus sundries ends up about 800 squids as opposed to 250 quid for the engine and a bit of exhaust.

yer talking of breaking bits i ripped off half of me anti roll bar exaust came loose so it sounded wicked on the way home and me winch cable came off. well worth it though. got stuck a few time myself but winched a couple of others out.

I had the same prob solenoid was clicking but not making contact if you can take the solenoid off and clean it up that should do the trick or a new solenoid cost me 28 quid. Which is a better option than a new starter ay.

Hi guys now ive sorted me fuel tank out and took denis out just round the block, and every time i put my foot on the clutch theres a ssshhhing sound comeing from me clutch, but goes when i take my foot off. It was ok a couple of weeks ago but has been standing for a fortnight. Any ideas.

yer spose so red still got a lot of other things to sort before that. Like a fuel tank might help. got the old one off and they sent the wrong one.
