I have a blanked off hole in my dash next to the temp gauge. Nature hates a vacuum (except in my wallet), so what should I put in it and where can I get it? Suggestions? Inclinometer/ compass seems to be the obvious one, but searches come up blank.

I just bought an isolator switch with a removable "key". I want to fit it on the starter motor earth if this will work, but I want the switch body to be somewhere accessible so I actually bother to use it. Has anyone done this, if so how?

I did this last year. I bought ordinary car speakers and they fitted just fine. The lining isn't as stiff as door card and isn't supported in the middle, so don't go for anything too heavy. If you are a stereo purist, you will find that you will have one speaker close to our head which...
