    tyre size

I'm going to do a photo album of the work, start to finish. First things first is to work out the body lift required, I need to work out the amount of suspension travel the classic has and lift it by this amout minus the amount I cut out of the arches. I'm going to steer away from a lift kit as...

    tyre size

I've always wanted to do something daft like that, I mean who as a 5 year old didn't want a bigfoot for themselves!! I would imagine your mate has had to do some severe bodywork mods to avoid rubber/body contact on full articulation. I've got a 2" lift kit on mine and was toying with a body lift...

    Is my diff lock engaged?

Just been playing round with the motor a '88 3.5 auto and had the diff lock engaged just to see the difference when in a field. Now i've shifted the lever back to disengage the diff but my light is still on, is there a way to test if the diff is still really locked or not? cheers

    been done over

Is the 4.0 a push rod or OHC, forgive my ignorance!! if its a push rod then its a fairly easy job, no cams to dial in, more plug and play. all you would need to find then is a decent machinist to skim the heads and do the labour yourself. just an idea and better than getting stung for 3k!! if...

Hi, Does anyone know of a good reference for finding out where all my vacuum hoses should be running on my 3.5 efi, some pipes are connected but some aren't and there's nothing in the haynes that I can see. Or does someone have a 3.5 that they could have a look at and take notes? When I...

    Range Rover Sport revurberations!

Mylo, I'm relatively new to the range rover scene but have owned enough cars fram various dealers to develop a good nose for sniffing out bullSh1t. If you have driven 2 other identical models with no such fault then i think you can safely assume that it is not a common fault, and if it was a...
