    200 tdi porn

Yeah, I had my crank pulley disintegrate on my L400 too. Didn't destroy anything, but a pain in the arse. Injector pump seals leak, easy job when the engine's out, less so with it in. The big issue is the heads. They crack between the valves and can not be machined due to the ceramic...

    Help with rear seats

My understanding was that you can't legally have kids on side face seats regardless of what restraints you have in place.

Hello, New to the forum with a mystery to solve.

A winning combination! And I think that number plate might be worth at least a grand, which would pay for the new chassis you'll inevitably need.

    Let sleeping dogs lie?

I've used Molyslip on a whining diff on an L400 before with good results. Is there a suggestion that it eats copper alloy parts?

How big a job is it to take the body off?

I have a **** load of decent nuts and bolts already, will get some nylon washers to suit as suggested. Can't really see the point of the bolt kits you see up for sale.

How big a job is it to take the body off?

Getting my SWB SIII home on Monday, thanks Donnie if you hang out on here. She's in pretty good shape, but I want to really clean up the chassis and repaint it. How big a job is it to strip the body off and put it back on?

New to this - advice please

I remember as a kid there was a dark blue Coastguard SIII with a capstan winch in the front that lived in Mallaig - looked the business

    2.25 diesel i have 2 pots wet & 2 pots black?

Since I've got a resident SIII engine expert on the line... Think it might just need a good run which it wont get for a while, engine starts up okay, lively and responsive, but at higher revs splutters a wee bit - injector(s)?

    2.25 diesel i have 2 pots wet & 2 pots black?

Thanks I'm coming from a Mitsubishi Delica where the alloy head is a 100k miles service item  I'm not worried about my 2.25 head, but interested in how they bear up.

    series 3 re-wire

Jesus - I knew there was a good reason to buy a Landie. Worst case scenario, I'll need to rewire the whole thing - that's just become much less scary than I was expecting.

Long shot, but any members in Inverness with a trailer who would be willing to help me move an 88" for beer tokens?

    Help with rear seats

I have to address this issue too. As I understand it, little kids have to be forward facing regardless of how good your restraints are.

Just bought a Series III 88"

I think it was RAF. The person I dealt with was actually a neighbour of the seller. She's a bat**** crazy old widow, but lovely with it. She didn't know anything about the car. Will have a proper chat with the seller another time. He's keen to see it once I've given it some fettling. I don't...

Just bought a Series III 88"

Just got myself the Series Landie I've been hankering for most of my life. I haven't got it home yet so no pics until later. It's a 1983 model and lived on an airfield most of it's life doing very little. It has less than 20k on the clock - genuine I think. I poked the chassis with a...
