fitted my diffguards after cleaning off about 16years worth of grease from the diff lol also fitted the cb and aerial and got a swr reading of 1.4 so happy with that. I've fitted it in the headlining where the manual winder would be for the sunroof and cause my rear sunroofs motor is fooked...

yeah no problem, it'll be in the disco so just remind me and we can test it i've just change to the mag mount on the roof because i realised i read the meter wrong lol, need to earth my psm-1 mount on the back properly but it was a pain getting to the wires so i've just run the magmount...

After 6 hours messing around today I'm ready to go. Cb is in and I'm getting an set reading of 1.3-1.4 on channels 1,20 and 40 so all is looking good Glad to hear the water is reasonably low. I'll just take it careful through water until I fit the snorkel and waterproofing more after payday.

I'm thinking of a couple of ways to improve the water ability of my v8. Currently it has the square air intake box with the feed coming from just behind the headlight. I'm thinking of putting my cone filter on instead and making a splash guard infront of it. That way the air intake is higher up...

I'll be bringing a couple of mates along in my disco on sunday, one is going to be taking some video and photos so if you think there might be good chance for photo's just shout over the cb and he'll get out and take some shots and footage then I can post the pictures on here and put them...

well it was late last night but I changed the dizzy cap and rotor arm and fitted a new top hose to my v8, drove it to work this morning and its running sweet

Big grin on me face :-D New hose arrived today and touch wood it ain't leaked yet lol Also fitted a new distributor cap and rotor arm so just the cb to install on sat and I'm good to go Out of the above list are we all meeting at 8:30 at the pub car park?
