Yeah, I could try and change the seal from the new to the old and see what happens. But if it not works I can't send the item back. I don't know. Maybe I just take the cost and order from somewhere else. Where do you order spare parts?

I told the company that I want to change to the exactly right one (what i ordered) and they told me that "We sell a lot of these to the L322 and there has been no problem". My goal with this car is to change the things that need to change to the original stuff.

Exactly. That's why I bought a new gas cap. But the new one is not the same as the original. I'm wondering if someone knows if it's a problem to use the new one or if it have to be the exact same? In my head there might be some sort of function on the "ventilation" in the old cap.

I'm not sure if I want to try and see what happens. The car indicates that the fuel gas cap is missing and the engine light is on. I've read that it's probably caused by a faulty gas cap. I did try the new one but the engine light was still on and I was thinking that it might not be the right...

I’m looking for the right cas cap to my 4.2 V8 supercharged. I’ve bought one but it’s not quite the same as the original. The old one have some sort of ventilation (?). Can I use the one I bought or does it have to be the exact same? See the attached pictures. The old one is the one in the car.

Tomorrow I have some time to check things out a bit more. I'll have a look at the belt and the compressor.

Is there some way to test the compressor? I want to make sure that's the problem.

Yes, the AC works.

It's a L322 2008 Westminster V8 Supercharged and it makes a strange noise at the front and more to the right side. The sound stops as soon as I turn of the AC/Heater. I new to this and can't figure out what it's coming from. The attached zip-file contains a recording of the sound.

Hi, I'm in for my first Range Rover. A Westminster 2008 with the 4.2 l V8 Supercharged. I bought it mostly for my interest in hunting and I can't imagine a better hunting car. I'm very pleased with it but at the same time a bit nervous about some noises. Have a nice day!
