I've just fitted a new gauge to mine as it was reading full constantly ... may not be the gauge at fault with yours but if you decide it is I have a 2nd hand one spare as I bought two of them. That's ebay and bidding on two things at a time eh? ;)

It's in permanent 4wd ... unless you have bought one that has a prop missing! If that's the case you are in deep **** wallet wise!

I pay £159 with Lancaster for my 200Tdi 110CSW ... value about the same as yours COA.

Try Google for an image! ... common fault ... owners remove a prop to cover up a much more serious issue ... the VCU (viscous coupling unit) ... checking this when purchasing saves much heartache and wallet drainage! :cool:

They're only £60 to buy new ... if you want 2nd hand then try Liveridge in Birmingham ... Earlswood area ... that is if Boris can't help! ;)

I bought a new sender for £14 as this was what I thought would be the problem. I connected the new one without fitting it just to be sure and it turned out to be exactly the same. So ... 2nd hand gauge it was!

Put a replacement fuel gauge in so now I know how much I haven't got left in the tank ... and went for a drive in the snow ... lots of times :)
