my 110 takes long to start 1st thing.

If you're getting no glow plug light you need to first check the glow plug fuse and also the glow plug relay which is under the bonnet on the bulkhead behind the block. Definitely sounds like glow plug related problem. For the sake of a tenner I'd put a new set in while you're at it!

Fit new glow plugs ... this is probably the answer to your problem!

    Petrol gauge stopped working

My gauge was stuck on full but the low level light still worked. Turned out to be a faulty gauge. Fitted a new one and all good. I have another working spare too if anyone needs one! :)

    Buying a 110 tomorrow - advice

Good luck ... the chassis will need replacing eventually but if you can make it last 5 years or so you'll have plenty of time to save up the £2500 to have it replaced with a galvanised one ;)

300tdi will not start first thing

I would say you have something plugged in that's draining the battery then being as it starts ok from a jump! ... internal light off? Radio? CB? Sat Nav? Anything plugged in to the lighter socket on a permanent live?

    300tdi 90 Lost Braking

Should still be ok with the fluid on the minimum so it depends on whether you've suddenly lost fluid or if it's been on this level for a while. My guess would be a faulty vacuum servo ... the big round frisbee looking unit next to it!

    Engine management light

As Gemsdad says it sounds like an air problem ... my BMW had this issue and it showed as a MAF problem. It ended up not being that in the end but it was down to the secondary air pump causing the perfectly good MAF to mis-behave!

Best place to get cheap diff fluid

I thought it was EP80/90 you had to avoid in the t-box SH ... fine in diffs but EP90 in the t-box. I hope that's right anyway

    Some rather sorry looking 90's

Just looks odd if it's been in a fire ... got tyres on it for starters and the grill could be just snapped and hanging down perhaps! Perhaps it's a new type of fire effect paint designed to stop it getting knicked? :D

    Some rather sorry looking 90's

I don't think it's had a fire ... headlight surrounds ok ... glass ok ... under bonnet paint ok ... It may be that someone has stripped the paint ready for a respray using a heat gun! Would need to know a lot more about it though!

    Hello from new member

:D:D Aha ... I see you have a decent sense of humour ... that's certainly part of every Landy owners toolkit. Unless of course you have a Gaylander (I know you have a Fender) in which case it'll be underneath the curling tongues ;)
