    Botswana - tips, advice etc

Amazing mate, honestly. Bushlore were great, you could probably find a cheaper outfit but you get what you pay for in my opinion. PM me if you have any specific questions. https://www.instagram.com/landrover_greasejunkie/?hl=en I've started putting some pictures and videos up above if you're...

    Defender 200Tdi 1994 coolant

Glad to hear another TDI is getting back on the road. I have to say i'm surprised land rover didn't tell you to jog on and read the manual re: coolant as it tells you all you need to know there ;-). I only use distilled water when mixing coolant, bit OCD i know, but any excuse to pour more money...

Anyone know what these connectors are called?

It seems a lot of effort just to have a cold can of coke but wouldn’t be a Land Rover owner without constant ongoing projects

    Alpine window seal replacement

Yes they are. Are they actually leaking? If so use a thin flat tool to pry back a tiny bit and stick some silicone in. That'll kick the problem down the road for a couple more years

    Defender 90 Insurance - Recommendations?

I use the NFU. They know defenders do an agreed value and there are excellent to deal with. Always declare all modifications.

    Steering vibrations above 50mph

Yeh check the wheel balancing. Take it somewhere that does it properly. Not one of those budget tire places

Anyone know what these connectors are called?

Thanks pal. It’s from a 2020 RR sport. You’d think everyone would just use the same connectors. On the plus side tested it on the bench and it’s pretty decent. Gets cold fast.

Found some rot, but what is it on!

Absolute classic place. Electrochemical corrosion around seat belt mount. If you've got it there I suspect you'll have it all around the seat box as this is pretty common. When you put the repair section in make sure you use the sticky back foam YRM sells to make a new barrier between the two...

Anyone know what these connectors are called?

From the back of a Range Rover sport fridge that I’m planning on installing into the cubby box of my defender for no good reason. Really after the one for the main feed (picture 1), the one for the cig lighter (picture two) and the one for the USB feed (round one in picture 3)

    Sport Fridge/centre console wiring loom

I’m actually putting a 2020 Range Rover sport fridge into my 1991 defender cubby box. Would be good to not have to chop the connectors off the back of the fridge in case I change my mind one day

    Sport Fridge/centre console wiring loom

Does anyone know the part number for the fridge wiring loom for a 2020 Range Rover sport? I’m not familiar with these vehicle at all. Did a search but all I can find is the earlier model ones or ones that don’t seem to have the right sockets for the fridge a steer in the right direction...

    Manual Steering Box Refurb

Kelly Brae steering are the guys you want. Ebay is a bad choice as many boxes have just had the downshift seal changed and a lick of paint, then sold as a refurb

    Slight gearbox noise - worrying.

Check that input gear mate. If it’s not it’s just a matter of time until the main shaft splines fail and then it’s a new gearbox. You can replace the gear or fit an oil feed plate very easily.
