Hi MHM, What do you think of this place to put the EWP? its indicated by the red square box. I guess if we put it there it will avoid the ewp pumping coolant against closed thermostat. has anyone actually put this one in? its going pretty slow down here in term of EWP progress...

so we have to rely on the thermostat then. does it help prevent heat soak if the thermal switch set to 100 degrees?

i am still worried that the water pump would block the flow of EWP when the engine shut down. Can anyone confirm that it will not?

Hi LR1796, MHM, were you guys saying replace the original water pump with EWP?

Does it knocked/thumped everytime you change into 2nd gear?

Does the mechanical water pump blocking the coolant flow when the engine shutdown? planning to make EWP as a secondary pump which run only when the enigne shutdown

It looks like everyone are giving up on Hippo :( What is the flow rate (min and max) of the original water pump on hippo?

Why dont you do it MHM? I dont think its hard. I would do it but unfortunately I dont have much time and $$ till end of april next year...two overseas trips :( no choice :mad:

if someone can supply me with the elec pump im more than happy to do it :D need to save $$ for overseas trip...

Happened with mine before. It was the starter motor.

I installed 12 row Engine Oil Cooler (4 5/8" X 11" X 1 1/2") and it sits just between the bumper bar and A/C rad. I dont use the original engine oil cooler anymore as I think its too small and coolant already hot, useless. now it works as a heat sink for the coolant.
