It kind of depends whether the roof console currently in production is too wide for the existing fixing points for the visor. I guess you could just drill new holes but I'm not sure where / what they attach to as i've never taken my headlining out.

You could cut the end of the sun visors off and stick some sort of semi transparent sticker behind the rear view mirror.. how close together are the hinges on either end of the two visors?

Just a quick one, have you thought about where your rear view mirror is going to fit and sun visors? Mine seem to be part of the headlining (110 van) although i havent attempted to investigate

Sounds like a nice idea, but most cd players/radios are the same size aren't they so where is the need? CBs are different but usually have their own mounts. Why complicate things? Probably best to keep things simple especially if you want to start making a few of these. How are you going to be...

Most cbs come with some sort of mounting bracket like this so you could fit it to the bottom of your radio section Also mounting the cb underneath gives you space to put switches and 12v sockets alongside the radio. Could another interchangeable panel here. Good place to keep phones charged...

So when you start making them for the whole of loonyzone is the bottom plate going to be interchangeable so you can plates made up to suit each persons needs? A bit like the plates on a raptor dash?
