bearmach is slightly more expensive than ****part but much better quality the only britpart item i have bought which was any good was my front bumper, only because you would have to be a monkey not to weld two bits of tube together

you obviously havent been doing this long, britpart are **** there are hundreds of threads of people who got badly made parts or they prematurely failed upgrades are fine if you need them, but unless your using it offroad reguarly then its pointless

a britpart unit is about 95 bearmach/allmakes is 120 LR 230 ish i chose the bearmach/allmakes one, just waiting to be told its arrived

Am replacing the fuel pump/sender unit thats located in the fuel tank, is there a trick to removing the big red locking ring without destroying it in the process. I dont want to but the 'special' LR tool just for this one little job

depending where you live 'climate' and engine you have, an example is the 200tdi in this country some people remove the viscous unit completely and the engine runs fine most other people opt to fit an electric fan which can be turned off for wading

unless its a mini cab - surely its a good thing, my last car did it and so does my current one (not the disco) never felt it to be a problem. With my last car, a MG ZR 2004 it could be taken back to a dealer who could reset the electronic crap to remove the function

i take it you already have axle breathers and a snorkel, and drain plugs, electric fan would be usefull so you can turn it off for deep water. A mate of mine put a cut off switch on the dash that turns off non essential electrical items such as lights/radio/windows etc also for water crossings...

i dont know why you lot are arguing about which is quickest man/auto on a diesel LANDROVER. If your worried about speed you have the wrong vehicle. If you want a more spritely landrover pay up and run a v8 :)
