make sure you can undo all the filler plugs on the diffs and gearboxes before draining the oil. some are plastic and can get well chewed up.

not 100%. but on pre td5 disco. i think you can replace just the park switch. unlike td5. where you have to replace the whole motor.

from my experience. tfl make their decision based on what it says on the v5. so contact dvla and see what they can do.
