in my 2000 td5 auto. when in the car i cant hear the fuel pump either. if i stand outside towards the rear, i can.

not 100% on this. but i think only certain boxes take gl5. td5 for example. something to do with whatever is in gl5 eats bits of your box. gl4 seems to be safe though.

i have heard that to bleed the system properly. you need to unbolt and raise the expansion tank up higher.

agree with above. my es came with 18" wheels. had good tyres with plenty of tread. just seemed to grab all the irregularities in the road. put 16`s on and drives like my other 2 cars. ie neutral feel.

you may also need someone with a hawkeye/nanocom to tell the bcu its got air bags. may also need the ride height adjusters. i think. i do find the air useful when carrying heavy loads,

well spotted tsangpa. just got 10l + 2 filters today. still seems to be working.

did it a couple of years ago so cant remember exactly. but it is quite straight forward. will need a bit of care when unbolting from the side support as it is spring tensioned. often find that when talking to people in a call centre (re insurance) if you dont get the answer you want. ring back...

its actually the pressure limiting valve. good idea to clean if compressor doesnt hold pressure

i have tried a few modern glues trying to stick lugs etc back onto motorbike plastic panels. none worked. they didnt allow any flex and just snapped off. then i tried a 2 pack resin from maplins, the electrical store. cant remember the exact name. something like vinyl/abs plastic weld/glue. best...

could try swapping the ride height sensors over. disconnect negative battery terminal first though. i`m assuming the one that isnt high hasnt got a leak.

hi, but what happens if you push the key fob button a second time? this is what i do on mine. you can reprogram with a hawkeye or nanocom.

just changed the 18`s that came with the vehicle for a set of 16`s i got off ebay. the tyres have between 1 & 2mm of tread. i deliberately ran the tread down before swapping over the wheels. i paid £90 for the 16`s. if i get my money back with the sale of the 18`s. then great. if no interest...
